THE STORY
A large, handleless antique vessel from the ancient region of Urartu, standing around 19” tall with a powerful, grounded presence. The rounded body rises into a tapered neck and opens to a wider mouth, creating a classic, architectural silhouette.
Finished in warm terracotta and brown, the surface carries a soft, timeworn patina that adds depth and variation across the form. Chips and old repairs around the mouth are part of its long history and only enhance its authenticity, giving it a collectors value. Its scale makes it a true statement piece, substantial enough to anchor a console, dining table, or sit directly on the floor as a sculptural vessel that holds a room without needing anything around it.
