THE STORY
A petite vintage wooden stool with remnants of timeworn red paint across its top.
Once used across countryside homes as a milking stool or everyday perch, it would have been pulled close to the hearth, shifted between workspaces, and carried wherever a steady surface was needed.
Today it slips easily into a room as a grounding piece: beside a sofa, tucked under a console, or holding a small stack of books or a sculptural object. Simple, useful, and full of history.
