THE STORY

The original lid, beautifully rounded form, and deep burnished surface made this one impossible to walk past. Handmade over a century ago, it’s a reminder that the most functional objects often become the most timeless.

We love it exactly as it is: simple, sculptural, and carrying the marks of a life well lived.
