Sourced from Konya in central Turkey, this two-handled vessel was likely used to store water or oil. A deep green glaze circles the neck and catches on the handles, while the terracotta body is covered in white crystallized mineral deposits, almost as if it’s been dusted with frost. No two surfaces age quite this way. We love it on a console with a few tall branches. Its the sort of pot that makes someone stop and ask where you found it.
