A striking heirloom sized antique Uraltu vessel with a beautifully weathered black surface: a colorway that is far less common to find in this form. Standing nearly 20 inches tall and exceptionally heavy, this is a true statement piece.
Originally used for the storage and transport of provisions, the vessel carries the character of a century of use, from its worn patina to the subtle variations in tone and texture. Its sculptural silhouette and rare dark finish allow it to stand on its own whether styled on a hearth, as an entryway console statement, or as a floor vessel in a living space.
We personally envision this piece in a large entryway with towering stems, where its generous scale creates an immediate statement while maintaining an organic, collected feel.
