A small French milking stool in that classic demi-lune shape, originally made for function with a really beautiful simplicity. The dark color has settled in with time, giving it a deep, matte patina from age and use.
We like these as little grounding pieces in a room. Next to a linen chair, pulled under a console, or sitting in a bathroom with something stacked on top; soap, books, or a candle are favorites.
Small, useful, and quietly beautiful in that very French, Provençal way.
