A mini elm stool with patina like none we’ve found.
Once used across countryside homes as a milking stool or everyday perch, it would have been pulled close to the hearth, shifted between workspaces, and carried wherever a steady surface was needed.
The elm has aged into warm tonal variation and markings, the kind of patina that only comes from years of being handled and used.
Today it slips easily into a room as a grounding piece: beside a sofa, tucked under a console, or holding a small stack of books or a sculptural object. Simple, useful, and quietly full of history.
