Handmade in Bayburt over a century ago, this vessel carries the rich, burnished black surface that has made these early forms some of our favorites to source. Every mark, shift in tone, and softened edge is the result of a century of use and the passage of time.
An age-related crack is present on the underside of the vessel. It does not affect its integrity, but reminds us that this piece has already lived a long life before finding its way here. We wouldn’t erase it even if we could.
